  • Green Chili – 1 (optional, slit)

  • Fresh Cream – ¼ cup

  • Cashew Nuts – 8-10 (soaked and blended into a smooth paste)

  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp

  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp

  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp

  • Garam Masala Powder – ½ tsp

  • Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) – 1 tsp (crushed)

  • Salt – to taste

  • Fresh Coriander – for garnish


Step-by-Step Cooking Method

Step 1: Prepare the Mushroom Base

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan and sauté the sliced mushrooms on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until they release water and turn slightly golden. Remove and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Masala

In the same pan, add the remaining butter. Once melted, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, cooking until the raw aroma disappears.

Add the sautéed mushrooms back to the pan. Sprinkle garam masala and crushed kasuri methi. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
